IUDOP
Located at the Jesuit University Jose Simeon Cañas in San Salvador, the University Institute of Public Opinion is an UCA affiliated research center that has for more than two decades systematically tracked Salvadoran public opinion and conducted field research on a variety of social issues effecting El Salvador and Central America. From electoral politics to human rights, from gangs to incarceration rates and prison conditions, the IUDOP has remained since its inception at the forefront of rigorous field research on Central American topics of social concern and the public’s response.
